the SBNews main pageOkay, so it's probably old news by now, but SBNews was featured a couple of years ago in publication "PC-Magazine". Pc-Magazine was one of those magazines that I read all the time back when I was a teenager getting interested in computers, so I was very happy to see it in there.
SBNews was mentioned in the "Trends: Internet" section of the September 9 issue of PC-Magazine. PC-Magazine, a bimonthly publication of Ziff-Davis Inc., is one of the world's leading computer journals. The review of SBNews: News Robot is featured on page 40 of the September 9, 1997 issue and includes a nice screen shot of SBNews in action.
PC-Magazine noted the many features of News Robot, including "... an image-catalog generator, slide-show viewing, and duplicate detection". They also mentiond one of the most important advances that SBNews has to offer, the ability to "... block messages that come from annoying posters".
